Where can I hire a vehicle?

You can hire a vehicle from any of our UK offices, including Barking City Airport, Bray, Egham, Heathrow, Kensington and Battersea.

What types of vehicles are available for hire?

At Fairview Vehicle Hire, we provide a diverse selection of vehicles to meet your needs, including cars, vans, pick-ups, minibuses, electric vehicles and tipper trucks.

How do I book a vehicle for hire?

To book a vehicle:

Navigate to the vehicle hire page and select the desired vehicle.
Fill out the online booking form with the necessary information, including the hire period.
You can also make a reservation directly by contacting us via phone or email.

To return a vehicle:

Return the vehicle to the specified location at the end of your hire period.
Make sure the vehicle is in the same condition as when it was hired.
Refill the fuel to the same level as when you picked it up.
Complete any return paperwork and hand over the keys.

How long can I hire a vehicle for?

Our vehicles start at £45.90 per day and are available for daily, weekly or weekend hire. Please contact us if you wish to extend your hire.

Can I return my vehicle to a different location?

Yes, you are welcome to return your vehicle at any of our locations. However, we do prefer pick-ups and drop-offs to occur at the same location.

Is there a minimum age requirement to hire a vehicle?

To rent with Fairview Vehicle Hire, all drivers must be between the ages of 23 and 69, and to hold a valid driving licence for a minimum of two years. Additionally, young drivers will incur a surcharge to help ensure the safety of the vehicle and its passengers.
What documents do I need to provide to hire a vehicle?
When renting a vehicle, you generally need to provide the following:

A valid driving licence held for at least two years (with English translation or international permit)
Proof of identity, such as a passport or ID card
A credit or debit card for the security deposit and payment
Proof of address, such as a utility bill or bank statement (issued within the last three months)
A DVLA share code

Are the vehicles available for both business and commercial use?

Yes, our vehicles are suitable for business and commercial use, making them perfect for various tasks, including deliveries, construction and client visits. They cater to a wide range of business needs, providing flexibility across different industries.

What insurance options are available for rental vehicles?
Basic insurance is included with your car hire, which covers third-party liability. If you plan to use the vehicle for business purposes, you’ll need additional business car insurance. Please review the policy for specific details.

Can I add additional drivers to my rental agreement?

Yes, you can include an additional driver in the car hire agreement. All additional drivers must meet the same age and licensing criteria as the primary driver and will need to provide the required documentation.
