Who is Fairview Vehicle Hire?
Fairview Vehicle Hire is one of the UK’s largest independent vehicle rental companies. From cars and minibuses to vans of various sizes, we hire to commercial and domestic customers on a flexible basis. With specialist vehicles and ULEZ-compliant vans, you can trust that we have what you want.
We created Fairview through real, hands-on experience within our separate logistics business. As operators ourselves, we relied heavily on rental vans from some of the biggest brands in the industry. But we found the service falling short of our expectations. There was a lack of flexibility, poor customer support, and a disconnect with what businesses like ours actually needed.
From Two Vans to a 2,200-Strong Fleet
Ultimately, we felt the industry was heading in the wrong direction. So we decided to do something about it.
In early 2019, we purchased two vans to support our own logistical operations. And from there, our practical, personal solution grew into Fairview Vehicle Hire.
As of 2026, we have over 2,200 vehicles in our rental fleet, supporting businesses and individuals across London and the Home Counties. We have five branches, an app, and a vision to expand further to bring our core values to businesses that need it, as we did.

Expansion
One of our most significant milestones is expanding from a small, focused operation into a multi-site business. From a single location in Bray to five additional branches, we now serve a much wider customer base, while maintaining the same high standards of service.
