On the 16th to 17th of May 2026, Fairview Vehicle Hire’s founder, Nish, is taking on the Jurassic Coast Ultra Challenge. This continuous 100km ultramarathon is in support of Thames Hospice, an outstanding end-of-life care charity for people aged 16+. Nish loves hiking and 100km challenges, so what better way to encourage an incredible cause?

What is the Jurassic Coast Ultra Challenge?
The Jurassic Coast Ultra Challenge is a mass-participation endurance event. It invites members to walk, jog, or run along the UNESCO World Heritage coastline in Dorset. For 100k challengers, it begins at Corfe Castle, finishes in Bridport, and includes approximately 2,300 meters of climbing.

How Does Fairview Vehicle Hire Support Thames Hospice?
Fairview’s partnership with Thames Hospice started in December 2025. Thames Hospice rented our vans for a while, but a simple conversation transformed our partnership into something much more meaningful.
During this conversation, Nish learned more about the incredible work Thames Hospice does. This conversation led to a meeting with Jessica, Layla, and Claire to better understand Thames Hospice’s mission and the project they were working on, Trunks Across the Thames.
The project involves 30 elephants of different sizes, each painted by a known artist, which are sponsored and purchased by local businesses. Thames Hospice shared how the project helps raise vital funds, with the elephant installations needing to be moved regularly to clients and locations each week. Once we understood the project’s impact, we knew we wanted to be involved.
Now, Fairview supplies vehicles to Thames Hospice whenever they need one.
Once completed, the elephants will be displayed across the Windsor and Slough area as part of a public art trail. This trail will help raise money and awareness for Thames Hospice and its invaluable services.

A Word From Nish
As many of you know, I love my hikes and 100km challenges. This time, I’m taking on the Jurassic Coast Ultra Challenge – a continuous 100km ultra marathon.
For this challenge, I’m fundraising to support Thames Hospice, whose incredible work makes a real difference to so many people and families.
Any contribution, big or small, will make a huge difference and help support the amazing care they provide.
Thank you so much for your support.
