Driver Requirements
Hirer must have held a full UK driver’s licence for a minimum of 2 years and meet the following insurance requirements:
- Aged between 25 – 70
- Drivers aged 23 – 24 are subject to a young driver surcharge
- No more than 6 penalty points in the previous 5 years, and no serious motoring offences in the previous 10 years
- No more than 1 accident within the last 5 years
- All UK licence holders must visit the DVLA website within 7 days of your reservation to generate a share code.
Licence holders outside of these criteria will be referred to our insurers after booking. To save time at vehicle collection, customers are encouraged to provide their driving licence and ID documents in advance when contacted by a Fairview team member.
